September 7: Dodgers vs Guardians gamelive score, standings and updates

At the bottom of second, Los Angeles Dodgers are playing Cleveland Guardians at Dodger Stadium on Saturday in the second game of the series. They took a 6-2 lead in the first inning alone, prompting to the game and tie the series. As of now, the Dodgers are 84-57 and the Guardians 81-60, both leading their respective divisions in pennant race. 


G Williams started the game for Dodgers, but earned five runs, which forced the team to substitute him with P. Avila after only 0.2 innings. Avila, on the other hand, changes sides after earning a run in first inning from Andy Pages' homer. Tommy Edman, Gavin Lux and Miguel Rojas contributed to rest of the RBIs.

Meanwhile, in the second inning, Lane Thomas homered M. Grove, who replaced R. Brasier after the first inning, and scored two runs, giving his team their first runs.

   Aaron Judge, the New York Yankees star and a probable Hall of Famer, was awarded the Clemente Award by the MLB before Game 3 of the World Series. He is the fourth Yankee to win this award after Derek Jeter in 2009. This honor is given every year to a player who shows a strong commitment to the community's welfare and understands the importance of helping others. This award is dedicated to Roberto Clemente, the 1971 World Series MVP. He was the first player from the Caribbean and Latin America to win a World Series and was involved in various charitable works.
