Solo Leveling - Why it is a must read Webtoon and upcoming Anime announcement.

 Illustrated by Korean artist DUBU and published by D&C Media, Solo Leveling, alternatively known as Only I Level Up (Korean: 나 혼자만 레벨업) is getting an Anime adoption this winter. Official dates and trailers have been released and fans all over the world are hyped for this long-anticipated Anime adoption. 

Why Solo Leveling is a must read webtoon aka manhwa?

Creation of Solo Leveling: 

With Manga such as One Piece, Dragon Ball Series, Naruto etc. reaching global stages, artists all over the world started to follow the path. And one such individual was Chugong who wrote the story of Solo Leveling, also known as Only I Level Up (Korean: 나 혼자만 레벨업), as light novel. Later it got webtoon adoption by KakaoPage on March 4, 2018. The light novel was illustrated by Korean artist Jang Sung-rak, pen name DUBU, CEO of Redice Studio. Although the demise of DUBU in year 2022 was an unexpected setback for the studio but he finished the series Solo Leveling in 2021 and got famous all around the world. in February of 2023, D&C Studio published the webtoon into seven volumes which got licensed in English by Yen Press. 

Story Summary: 

The story placed in a world where people with certain ability and power become Hunters who protect the world from Monsters. They got ranked based on their power. An ordinary boy Sung Jinwoo, make his living as F-ranked Hunter. But one day he got trapped in a double dungeon and faced an unexpected powerful boss who killed him. But Sung Jinwoo awakened as Vessel of Shadow and the story unfolds how he fought against both hunters and monsters and to know the mystery behind these powerful beings. His journey from being a low-level hunter to be most powerful being in universe excites the fans all over the world.

Upcoming Plans: 

Solo Leveling got huge success as light novel and webtoon aka manhwa and A-1 Pictures, Studio of Crunchyroll, announced an Anime adoption of the series. Anime is scheduled to air in January 2024. The production is supervised by some big names of the industry, Shunsuke Nakashige will direct the project as Noboru Kimura working as head writer. Tomoko Sudo has taken the work of Designing the characters and music composition will be in charge of Hiroyuki Sawano.

Not only the story but also the illustrations of Solo Leveling has wowed fans and they are expecting to feel all these in visual and sound. It is one of the most anticipated released of the year and Fans are eagerly waiting for this Winter.
