Snell's Class Performance left Dodger fans Worried

 Los Angeles Dodgers (LAD) played their last game against San Diego Padres (SD) and result is worrying Dodgers fan. A class performance by Blake Snell to win the game for Padres. Although with the points on the table it's a matter of time for Dodgers' to face Wild Card entries from National League (NL). But last performance from the batting line up of LAD against southpaw pitcher is making supporters concern for the playoffs' preparation.

Game Summary: 

On 13 September last game against Padres before postseason, unlike Braves who are winning all the games despite qualifying for playoffs, Dodgers are struggling at their home ground. With 8 strike outs and only 1 hit in 6 innings, Snell showed his eliteness. Soto and Campusano's homer with Tatis Jr's play won the game for the team. With an early Home Run in 1st innings by Soto shifted the gear to SD and in Top 4th innings Luis Campusano solidify the winning probability with a 381ft. 2-Run homer to make the score 4 - 0. Also, Fernando Tatis Jr.'s hit to right center field with full base, gave Padres the enough lead of 6 to nothing against LAD. Even, Kolten Wang's homer towards deep right field in last inning wasn't enough to save Dodgers from this devastating loss of 6 - 1 in 9 innings.

LAD performance:

Batting line up of Dodgers was suffering against the Snell's pitches. Mookie was the only one who got clean hit against Snell in bottom of the 1st innings and then a walk in 3rd but rest of the innings till 6th, others were coming back and forth from dug-out. Even with Freeman, Taylor and Martinez in the line-up, Padres was dominating the game. Although Max Muncy was on rest, but he also has a poor record against lefties in this season with avg. of 0.149 only, compared to 0.236 avg. against righty. So, the problem against southpaws remains unsolved for Dodgers.

Snell's performance:

Blake Snell delivered a praise-worthy performance against soon-to-be qualify for playoffs batting lineup of Dodgers. With an ERA of 2.43, Snell has best pitching stat in 2023 MLB regular season till now. Against LAD's mighty hitters Blake only gave 1 hit and walked Betts once, rest of the game with 8K's he showed class. Even Dodger's LF Chris Taylor said, "I thought tonight was the best he's looked since we've faced him."

Los Angleses Dodgers are next in line after Braves from NL to qualify for playoff as 2nd seed. But a southpaw struggling line-up are worrying as fans. Even though Snell wouldn't be there as SD is fourth in east division, but there will be other contenders, and no-one will leave the chance to exploit the weaknesses of Dodgers to their benefit. Fans are curious and excited as what will be dodgers answer to this problem with only few games are left before the postseason.
